My pain is as deep as a well,
The loss of my love, my one true friend,
Gone for all eternity,
I had loved with my heart, my mind, and my soul,
Yet, I never attained my goal,
I refused to accept the fate of my love, forever entombed by the sea,
The love of my life, the wife of my heart,
fate seemed to laugh as it tore us apart,
As a well bucket drops in that endless silence,
my pain will go on as deep as a well.
